Agency Associates Ltd t/a Driving Courses UK (the Agent) will arrange an intensive driving course for the Pupil, with the Instructor, who is an independent Contractor and not employed by the Agent.
Pupils must reach the required Driving Standards Agency standard in order to take the practical test. This will be decided by your instructor and his decision will be final. The pupil must be able to drive consistently well and unsupervised in order to take their test. This is in the interests of the pupil, examiner and other road users. We do not allow pupils to take a test if they do not reach the required standard and it is our policy that they cannot take a test just for the experience, as laid down by the Driving Standards Agency.
Driving Courses UK are not responsible for DSA test cancellations due to illness, adverse weather conditions or change of test venue or for any other reason beyond our control.
In the event of the illness/injury of a driving instructor which necessitates the cancellation of a course, Driving Courses UK cannot accept personal responsibility but a refund of deposit will be made in this instance or a further course date will be arranged.
Driving Courses UK will not tolerate abusive behaviour, alcohol or drug use or any other offensive conduct either in the vehicle, hotel or otherwise and any course would be terminated upon these grounds. The pupil would not be reimbursed in these circumstances.
All our tuition vehicles are the latest models and in excellent condition, however in the unlikely event that a tuition vehicle breaks down, an alternative vehicle will be provided where possible.
Deposits and test fees are non-refundable in the event of pupil cancellation.
Your driving test (and theory test if applicable) could be booked anywhere in the North West and due to logistics test venues may need to be changed. Any changes to tests must be made through Driving Courses UK and NOT changed by the pupil.
When a driving re-test is offered, it only applies if firstly a test has been taken here. It will not apply if you are not at test standard (as decided by the professional driving instructor). The re-test will be booked in your home town.
